NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the C634 Main Road from a point 550 metres eastwards of its junction with C291 Southrepps Road for a distance of 40 metres eastwards in the PARISH OF SIDESTRAND because of repair works to an electricity pole on the roadside.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 09:00 to 15:00 on 21st May 2021 for the duration of the works, only whilst traffic signs indicating the closure are in place.
Alternative route is via: Main Road, Cromer Road, Church Street, Mundesley Road, Loop Road, High Street, Trunch Road, Southrepps Road, Gimingham Road, Wedge Wood Road, Pit Street, Lower Street, Antingham Road, North Walsham Road, Crossdale Street, Norwich Road, Mill Road, Station Road, Overstrand Road (Overstrand, Thorpe Market, Cromer, Trimingham, Gimingham, Southrepps, Northrepps, Trunch, Mundesley, Antingham, Sidestrand)
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
