Mundesley Beach
As you will know, following the sewer pipe leak at Mundesley Beach, North Norfolk Council has advised that it is safe for residents and visitors to access this part of the beach. This follows a series of bathing water and surrounding samples undertaken independently by both Anglian Water and the Council.
We would like to thank the Council for its help during this period and to also thank stakeholders and residents for bearing with us whilst we cleaned up the affected area outside the pumping station and undertook the sampling. We’re also talking to the Lifeboat Association to offer assistance with improvements at its nearby facility.
You may also notice some activity at the pumping station today as we undertake our planned, routine maintenance on the wet well, ahead of the start of the bathing season.
