Emergency road closure in the Parish of Trunch – Openreach works

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(TRUNCH) (EMERGENCY NOTICE)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2021

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Openreach works (access to underground/overhead network and cable renewal) to

restore customer service the use by vehicles of the U19208 Mundesley Road from its junction with C426 Knapton Road eastwards for 350m in the PARISH OF TRUNCH will be temporarily prohibited from 29th to 31st March 2021 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 3 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

Alternative route is via: Mundesley Road, Trunch Road, Gordon Terrace, Knapton Road, Knapton Green (Trunch/ Knapton/ Mundesley).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
