TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2021
Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)
In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to safety reasons whilst works on an overhead structure take place the use by vehicles of the B1145 The Street from its junction with C425 Bradfield Road for 400m southwards in the PARISH OF SWAFIELD will be temporarily prohibited between 09:00 and 16:00 from 22nd to 23rd September 2021 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 2 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days
Alternative route is via: B1145 The Street, A149 North Walsham Bypass/Yarmouth Road/Norwich Road/Wayford Road, B1159 Stepping Stone Lane/Stalham Road/Coast Road/Walcott Road/Church Road/Beach Road/Paston Road/Bacton Road/Mundesley Road/Stow Hill/Water Lane/Knapton Road/North Walsham Road/The Street (Dilham, Worstead, Walcott, Bacton, Smallburgh, Brumstead, Swafield, Paston, Knapton, Stalham, Mundesley, East Ruston, North Walsham).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
